Charter School Benefits
The Insurance
As a member, you are covered for liability and accidental injury, and tournaments you host can be covered as well. You are covered up to $2 million dollars for the liability. The insurance coverage we offer is one of the best plans you can find.
National Academy and School Directory
Your academy will be listed on our National School Directory and you will have the ability to have news about your instructors, students and academy featured on our homepage.
Business Development and Networking
USA JIU JITSU is always strengthening industry specific relationships and strategic partnerships that we extend to Chartered Schools.
Instructor Certification and Development
We offer an Instructor Certification course that allows instructors to expand and improve their skills by working with other instructors from all over the world and our qualified staff. By becoming a member, the instructor of your choice will be able to attend one of our courses for free.
Curriculum Development
USAJJ has a well-developed curriculum to help instructors instruct their students in a progressive manner. Charter schools are free to use or integrate it with their existing curriculum.
The USAJJ Black Belt Council
USAJJ is governed by the World Black Belt Council. Its members include Rigan Michado, Larry Shealy and Matt Larsen. It is meant as a way for Black Belts to have a say in the future of the sport.
Individual Member Benefits
The Insurance
As a member, you will be eligible for accidental injury insurance, as well as being covered to, from, and during registered events. Coverage is $25,000 per accidents w/$250 deductible.
Membership Certificate
Each Individual member of USAJJ will be sent a Membership certificate that will record and recognize their most recent belt rank.
Networking and Communication
You will have access to a constantly expanding community of Jiu Jitsu professionals, who can help you expand your training and put you in touch with leaders of the sport in your area.
Tournament Discount
Individual members will be able to compete at a discounted rate at any USAJJ and Jiu Jitsu International event.
Training Videos
USAJJ has a well-developed curriculum and members have access to all the videos online.
