
Master Abrille is currently based in Atlanta, Georgia at KnuckleUp Fitness. He has been involved in Jiu Jitsu for twelve years.
Master Abrille’s coach was Master Kurt Roho, who was a purple belt at that time, under Master Joe Merrara. He has also trained with Master Merrara, but less frequently than with Kurt. In 2000 he moved to Atlanta, Georgia. He trained with various instructors involved with KnuckleUp Fitness before receiving his black belt from Master Kazenta.
Master Abrille is especially proud of the Kena Cage tournament he fought in and won. He held the record for about six years. Master Abrille stated his first Jiu Jitsu tournament was his favorite. His opponent was favored to win and Master Abrille was thrilled to have defeated him.
Master Abrille is the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and kickboxing instructor at Knuckleup's Atlanta location. He has been participating in Mixed Martial Arts since the first "King of the Cage" tournament in 1999. With over nine years of training in these disciplines, he loves fighting because of "the spoils of victory."
Master Abrille would like to see Jiu Jitsu become a worldwide sport. He would love to see it as a competitive sport in the 2016 Olympics.
Master Abrille hopes to bring something of value to the organization, whether it is new training concepts or some other kind of structure. He welcomes advice from the senior members so to ensure the direction of Jiu Jitsu keeps the integrity of the sport. Anything that would bring some value to it. Find out the direction where the senior members want to take it. Master Abrille wants to make sure Jiu Jitsu does not become watered-down. He believes the participants should work to deserve the belt they hold and not simply have it given to them. Master Abrille is very proud and honored to have been asked to be a member of the Black Belt Council. While he did not expect it, he was thrilled to have been asked
